I’ve spent the past decade working at the intersection of startups, education, and venture capital, helping ambitious ideas grow into thriving realities. My work has focused on creating impactful programs, building meaningful connections, and providing strategic resources to support early-stage innovators. Each chapter of my journey has strengthened my commitment for supporting builders as they create something extraordinary.

Outside of work, you can catch me at a yoga or dance studio, walking my two mini poodles around the gorgeous parks and beaches of San Francisco (meet Bruce & Ivy here), or dancing the night away at a local concert or music festival. Music is a really important part of my life and you can often find me deep diving into an artist’s discography, making endless playlists, and buying concert tickets.

In 2025, I’ll be marrying the love of my life — Nicolai —a moment that feels like the culmination of so many beautiful years together. We met in 2012 while attending UC Santa Barbara, and since then, we’ve built a life filled with adventure, joy, and endless laughter. From traveling the world to dancing until our feet ache, every moment with him has been a reminder of how lucky I am.

I’m about to announce a new full time role at an ambitious and transformative startup. I’m so excited to share this news with the world. Coming soon!

2019-2024

Y Combinator, batch director

“Y Combinator is the leading startup accelerator for entrepreneurs. Since 2005, YC has invested in over 4,500 companies, including Airbnb, Dropbox, Stripe, Reddit, Instacart, DoorDash, and Coinbase. Today, YC has built the most powerful startup community in the world alongside the products and programs to support founders for the life of their company.”

As the Batch Director, I led all founder-facing initiatives, which at a high level meant building programming, communications, and writing content. I became an expert on the challenges founders face in the nascent stages of company building and honed my ability to identify and implement impactful ways for YC to support them. I have immense sympathy and respect for all they undertake and feel so fortunate to be a trusted resource on their journey to success.

2014-2019

Make School, Operations & Partnerships

“Make School redesigned higher education for the 21st century. The emphasis was on ensuring relevance of education for the modern economy and accessibility to students of all backgrounds. Students earned a Bachelor’s in Applied Computer Science while studying liberal arts, computer science theory, and product development. Outcomes were on par with schools like Stanford and MIT with alumni working at companies like Facebook, Google, Apple and Y Combinator startups.”

Initially hired to build a partnership program (in which I signed companies like LinkedIn and Lyft), I quickly took on broader responsibilities, ultimately running Operations for both the company and the school. This transition into Operations further deepened my understanding of the startup ecosystem and prepared me to support founders in even more meaningful ways.
