About Me

I’ve spent the past decade working at the intersection of startups, education, and venture capital, helping ambitious ideas grow into thriving realities. My work has focused on creating impactful programs, building meaningful connections, and providing strategic resources to support early-stage innovators. Each chapter of my journey has strengthened my commitment for supporting builders as they create something extraordinary.

Outside of work, you can catch me at a yoga or dance studio, walking my two mini poodles around the gorgeous parks and beaches of San Francisco (meet Bruce & Ivy here), or dancing the night away at a local concert or music festival. In 2025, I married the love of my life - Nicolai - a moment that felt like the culmination of so many beautiful years together. We met in 2012 while attending UC Santa Barbara, and since then, we’ve built a life filled with adventure, joy, and endless laughter.

While I’ve worked with many organizations over the years, the ones below are where I had the opportunity to make the most meaningful contributions, building systems, shaping programs, and helping teams move forward in lasting ways

Collate uses AI to create and streamline paperwork for diagnostic, medical device, and drug development companies—from concept to market—harnessing the power of AI to bring life-saving innovations to patients sooner.

I joined as the first operations hire, owning core operational functions across people ops, finance, and internal systems during a critical growth phase (10 to 25 employees). I partnered closely with the founders, former YC Partners, to build structure where none existed as the company scaled rapidly.

Y Combinator is the leading startup accelerator for entrepreneurs. Since 2005, YC has invested in over 4,500 companies, including Airbnb, Dropbox, Stripe, Reddit, Instacart, DoorDash, and Coinbase. Today, YC has built the most powerful startup community in the world alongside the products and programs to support founders for the life of their company.

I led all founder-facing initiatives, building programming, communications, and writing content. I became an expert on the challenges founders face in the nascent stages of company building and honed my ability to identify and implement impactful ways for YC to support them. I have immense sympathy and respect for the founder journey and felt fortunate to be a trusted resource on that journey.

Batch Director, 2019-2024

Make School redesigned higher education for the 21st century. The emphasis was on ensuring relevance of education for the modern economy and accessibility to students of all backgrounds. Students earned a Bachelor’s in Applied Computer Science while studying liberal arts, computer science theory, and product development. Outcomes were on par with schools like Stanford and MIT with alumni working at companies like Facebook, Google, Apple and Y Combinator startups.

Initially hired to build a partnership program (in which I signed companies like LinkedIn and Lyft), I quickly took on broader responsibilities, ultimately running Operations for both the company and the school. This transition into Operations further deepened my understanding of the startup ecosystem and prepared me to support founders in even more meaningful ways.
